Carlton Views was prompted by the need for housing for disabled people in the Charlottesville, Va. area. Fountainhead worked with Community Housing Partners to bring well-built units that offered important details such as grab bars and wide hallways with modern design concepts. Completed in 2016, the EarthCraft-certified buildings with a high Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) rating. After such great success with the first, Fountainhead was welcomed to stay on board and construct a second building, Carlton Views II. It is a “55 and better” community conveniently located near public transportation, retail and service providers catering to the demographic.
